Norman Regional Health System has established itself as a workplace excellence model, situated in the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our team.

We have a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower under development, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We collaborate with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
We hold esteemed accreditations, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students.
Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements:

Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months.
Meet all competencies listed in department policy within six months.
Education:

A completed 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Experience:

Prior Procedural Area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.:

American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
Compensation:

$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
