The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment.
This critical position involves working closely with a team of cardiologists, overseeing the orientation of new staff, and maintaining professional relationships with the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Radiologic Technology, possess necessary certifications, and have experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
Identifying and assessing patient condition.
Maintaining a sterile environment.
Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Participating in the orientation of new staff.
The successful candidate will be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or hold registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred, along with Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.
We offer competitive compensation, with an hourly rate ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 based on previous work experience.
