Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Position at Norman Regional Health System

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
This position requires certification in Radiologic Technology and experience in a Cath Lab setting, alongside essential life support training. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, and providing top-notch patient care throughout the entire process.
In addition to these responsibilities, this position involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and contributing to the management of a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program within a community hospital.
Responsibilities:
Prepares equipment before and during procedures
Identifies and assesses patient condition
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
Serves as preceptor for new hires
Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
Certification in Radiologic Technology
Experience in a Cath Lab setting
Essential life support training (BLS and ACLS)
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
