Norman Regional Health System, a beacon of workplace excellence, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join their innovative cardiovascular program. Located at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, this community hospital system offers a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong professional working relationship with cardiologists and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and participating in the orientation of new staff.
A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred, along with registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS. Basic Life Support certification is required, with Advanced Life Support certification achievable within six months of hire.
This role offers a competitive salary of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
The ideal candidate is a registered technologist with experience in a cath lab and certifications including BLS and ACLS.
