The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise in radiologic technology and cardiovascular procedures will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance
Assess patient conditions and prepare them for procedures
Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and contribute to the orientation of new staff members
Use downtime effectively by completing tasks such as stocking rooms and checking equipment
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or RCIS certified
Basic Life Support certification
Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire
Benefits:

$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
