Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role involves preparing medical equipment and assisting with cardiovascular procedures while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
About the Position

This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position requires certifications in Radiologic Technology and ongoing education in advanced life support. You will work collaboratively with cardiologists to ensure both patient care and the training of new staff.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare medical equipment before and during procedures
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
Maintain a sterile environment
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration and/or RCIS certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
