Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist at Norman Regional Health System

The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. This position involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments during procedures.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of medical equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
Patient assessment and positioning for procedures, providing personalized care and comfort.
Maintenance of aseptic environments throughout the procedure to minimize infection risk.
Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating knowledge transfer and onboarding.
Effective time management, utilizing downtime to restock rooms, check equipment, and complete delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification are required, along with Basic Life Support training and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
Estimated Salary Range:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
