Job Summary and Qualifications


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Echocardiographer Technician.is responsible for using ultrasound technology to create a specific type of sonogram an echocardiogram. Physicians will use echocardiogram images of the heart and chest to help make diagnosis. Communicates effectively with other members of the department as well as other departments.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Graduate from AMA approved ultrasonography program preferred


  • Current BCLS certification required
