*Job Overview:*

_We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential support to nurses and other healthcare professionals by assisting with basic patient care activities and ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. This role is integral to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the patient experience._

*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Patient Care:* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Ensure patient comfort by adjusting beds, maintaining a clean environment, and providing emotional support.
* *Vital Signs Monitoring:* Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff promptly.
* *Assistance with Medical Procedures:* Support nurses and doctors during medical procedures by preparing and organizing necessary equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, including activities performed, vital signs, and any observations regarding patient condition or behavior.
* *Infection Control:* Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infection. Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and patient areas.
* *Communication:* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.
* *Mobility Support:* Assist patients with mobility exercises, transfers, and walking, using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
* *Nutritional Support:* Help with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring food and fluid intake, ensuring that dietary needs are met.
* *Personal Hygiene:* Assist with toileting, changing linens, and providing personal hygiene care to maintain patient dignity and comfort.

*Qualifications:*
* *Certification:* Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Jersey.
* *Experience:* Previous experience in a healthcare setting required.
* *Skills:* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a compassionate nature.
* *Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift and move patients, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.

5x8 Hr. Days (40 Hrs. per Week)

$22.00/Hr. Blended Rate
