The Project Manager - Government/DoD Construction - NoVA/DC will be responsible for:
- Managing all phases of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Overseeing both self-performed and subcontracted work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Providing regular updates to senior leadership and clients on project progress.
- Assisting with the preparation and management of project budgets, change orders, and contract negotiations.
Profile
The Project Manager - Government/DoD Construction - NoVA/DC will have:
- B.S. degree in engineering or construction management, or 12+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Strong background in government contracting preferred
- Proven skills in managing subcontracted and self-performed work
- Proficient in construction-related software
- Possess safety certifications
- Experience with high-profile clients, such as HUD and government agencies
Job Offer
The Project Manager - Government/DoD Construction - NoVA/DC will receive:
- Opportunity to work in either of their Virginia offices in Falls Church or Leesburg, as well as their Maryland office in Riverdale.
- Competitive salary of up to $120K.
- Monthly car allowance of $600, along with a gas card and EZ Pass.
- Paid parking and a 10% performance bonus.
- Two weeks of PTO, six accrued sick days, and standard 401(k) matching (50% up to 6%).
