Under the general direction of the Manager, Health Information, directs and coordinates activities of the data integrity and compliance monitoring staff in HIM to assure efficient workflow; Ensures accurate monitoring and reporting on documentation standards compliance for the medical center; Performs daily monitoring of systems and workflow; Monitors productivity, maintains appropriate staffing levels and supervises staff; Trains staff; and assists in the development of policies and procedures and understands the integration of all systems that affect department operations.

Required qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Associate's Degree in progress, from an accredited education institution
- If Associate's Degree is in progress, it must be completed within three years from date of hire into the position
- Epic HIM certification upon 1 year of hire.
- upon hire: National Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association. Or
- upon hire: National Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association.
- 2 years acute care Health Information Management experience
- 1 year supervisory experience required -or- three years progressively responsible Health Information Management experience may be considered in lieu of supervisory experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association upon hire
