Job Summary and Qualifications- Acts as the Administrator of the hospital in the absence of management during evenings, nights and weekends
- Responsible for staffing, emergency direction and handling complaints appropriately
- Notify the Administrator on call of any emergent situations that might jeopardize the facility or as required by policy/protocol
- Immediate counseling employees for actions that are against policy.
- Current state of Missouri RN or Compact licensure required.
- BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Three 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment
- One year as a charge nurse or other management position preferred Critical Care experience preferred.
Lee's Summit Medical Center is an 80+ bed full-service hospital. We serve Lee’s Summit and surrounding areas. Our services and specialties include cardiology, cancer care, endoscopy, emergency services, imaging, neurology, pain management, and pulmonology. We offer physical therapy, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, sports medicine, respiratory care, women’s care, and an array of surgical services. We have a dually-accredited Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center. Our trained staff and experienced Medical Staff are ready to treat our community.
