Fire Alarm Division Manager

 

Details:

Oversees fire protection services, including sales, installation, maintenance, and inspections of the FIRE ALARM DIVISION , and other fire safety equipment, ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing a team of technicians, and driving revenue growth within the division. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operational Management:



    • Lead and manage a team of fire protection technicians, including scheduling, assigning work orders, and performance evaluations. 




    • Oversee daily operations of the fire protection division, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to deadlines. 




    • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control. 




    • Coordinate with sales teams to identify and secure new fire protection projects. 



  • Technical Expertise:



    • Possess in-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting. 




    • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fire safety. 




    • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with fire safety codes. 




    • Conduct technical troubleshooting and resolve complex fire system issues. 



  • Customer Service:



    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction with fire protection services. 




    • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving any issues related to installations or maintenance. 




    • Provide technical advice to clients on fire safety best practices. 



  • Sales and Business Development:



    • Develop and implement strategies to expand the fire protection division's market share. 




    • Identify potential new clients and generate sales leads. 




    • Prepare proposals and present fire protection solutions to clients. 




    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients. 



  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:



    • Ensure all fire protection installations and maintenance activities comply with local and national fire safety codes. 




    • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain high standards of service. 




    • Manage documentation and recordkeeping related to fire protection systems. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred. 
  • NICET Preferred
  • Proven experience in managing fire protection projects and teams. 
  • Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, preferably Primavera (P6) preferred
