*Nursing Assistant Job Description*

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, home care, and emergency medicine environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service and care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those we serve.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
* Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient conditions.
* Administer catheter care and assist with the use of durable medical equipment (DME).
* Support patients in mobility and transportation within the facility or home.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
* Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with healthcare regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.

*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or emergency medicine is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient care techniques.
* Experience working with children is a plus.
* Ability to perform catheter care and familiarity with DME is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
* Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
