*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, clinics, and hospitals. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics and senior care.

*Varies - *must be available to work any shifts. May have to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts to get to 36-40 hours for the week.

*Duties*
* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
* Provide support for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
* Document patient care accurately in medical records using electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks.
* Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
* Assist in transporting patients within the facility or to appointments as needed.
* Engage with patients in a friendly manner to promote emotional well-being.

*Skills*
* Experience or knowledge in pediatrics, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
* Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation practices is beneficial.
* Understanding of dementia care techniques and approaches.
* Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
