* Cleans vacated public housing units to prepare apartment for occupancy.
* Cleans offices and other assigned rooms/areas.
* Performs routine litter clearance tasks.
* Assists building maintenance staff on routine assignments.

*Essential Functions *:
* Cleans vacated public housing units to prepare apartments for occupancy: receives assignment; identifies cleaning needs for assigned housing unit; mixes liquids used in house cleaning.
* Cleans and waxes floors: sweeps and mops floor; vacuums floor, operates floor buffer to strip and apply wax to floors; breaks down and cleans kitchen appliances, such as kitchen ranges and refrigerator.
* Cleans housing fixtures, including but not limited to bathroom fixtures (toilets, sinks, wall tile) and kitchen fixtures (counter tops, cabinets, range exhaust hoods),
* Cleans windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces; cleans doors, walls, molding, frames, and other surfaces; collects, removes, and disposes of refuse taken from unit; ensures unit is secure and locked prior to leaving.
* Refers maintenance problems to the attention of the immediate manager; and reports to immediate manager that unit is ready for inspections.
* Cleans units damaged by fire or other causes receives assignment; washes and cleans the walls, ceilings, floors, and windows of damaged units as directed; collects, removes, and disposes of refuse taken from unit.
* Ensures unit is secure and locked prior to leaving; and identifies and refers maintenance problems to the attention of the immediate manager.
* Cleans offices and other assigned areas: receives assignment; identifies cleaning needs for assigned housing unit; mixes liquids used in cleaning.
