*Summary*

Performs electroneurodiagnostic tests within approved standards, utilizing knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroneurodiagnostic instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions. Incumbent may be FT, PT, or PRN with overtime, on-call and call back as required. Reports to Electroneurodiagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or director. Performs other duties as assigned.

*Responsibilities*

* Performs Electroneurodiagnostic tests within approved standards to ensure that the physician can make appropriate interpretation/ intervention of the patient's neurological status.
* Provides routine/preventive maintenance on electroneurodiagnostic equipment by calibrating and cleaning equipment to ensure that data obtained is accurate and with defined parameters.
* Completes assigned goals.

*Requirements, Preferences and Experience*

*Education*

Minimum: 1 year of clinical experience

*Experience*

Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology training program of Associate degree or 2 years of college level education with classes in english, math, biology, anatomy and physiology, or 3 years END experience.

*Special Skills*

Preferred: Meets all requirements to be eligible to sit for exam for one of the following certifications: R.EEG T., R.EPT T., R.NCST., CLTM or CNIM

Minimum: Skill and proficiency in the concepts, principles, and techniques of the field of Neurodiagnostics, including EEG, EMG, EP, EMU and NCS.

*Training*

Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program.
