Job Description:

We're currently hiring in Olathe, Kansas to support a district in need of a Registered Nurse to work on a one-to-one basis with a student.
One to One School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:
- $35 - $37 an hour
- This is a One to One school nurse position to assist a student throughout the school day
- 1:1 Classroom Nurse – RN for the 2024-2025 school year
- Hours per week: 20 hours per week. 11am-3pm Monday-Friday
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: May 2025 with option to extend for future school years
- Location: In-person
- Details: 1:1 classroom nurse in a school setting. Student has degenerative disease and requires full 1: care including toileting. Student is less than 100 lbs and wheelchair bound. Must have g-tube and experience.
- RN will be on campus and in-person with the student
- Nurse will be expected to follow IEP and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team as well as student guardian(s)

Requirements:
- Kansas RN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Must have 1 year of prior experience in pediatrics.
- Recent g-tube experience is required
- Must have previous experience inputting medical documents into the computer database.
- Prior School Nurse or pediatric home health experience preferred
