About the Team: The Southeast Michigan Maintenance teams supports our sites for equipment and facilities. The Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician will cover seven buildings on the Washington/Romeo campus and work closely with the Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Specialist. At a minimum this includes supporting operations, Test and Validation, shipping and receiving, by performing preventative and predictive maintenance. Must also document and report the status of maintenance while identifying and working towards continuous improvements.

What you can look forward to as a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician:

Perform weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance. Document these efforts in a manner consistent with the business requirements.
Perform repairs, as needed to help support Washington/Romeo facilities (Including the coordination of outside resources)
Document and report equipment up time. Use this data to identify, report opportunities and improve processes
Truck driving to include picking up parts and equipment
Support the Water treatment program
Assist in cleanliness and housekeeping
Handle various projects as assigned by the business
Perform miscellaneous duties as required

Your Profile as a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician:

High school diploma or equivalent
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and fabrication knowledge
Troubleshooting skills
Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
Organizational and team building skills
Basic computer skills
Record keeping and documentation skills
Safety conscious
Self motivated
Productive and positive attitude
