Summary

Codazen is seeking an innovative and experienced Technical Product Manager, with a background in Immersive Web Technologies and Design Technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating groundbreaking, user experiences and possess expertise in WebXR, 3D Modeling, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Interactive 3D Interfaces. You will be responsible for driving product strategy, development, and execution for Immersive Web Products that push the boundaries of digital interaction and engagement.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including designers and engineers to ensure our immersive experiences are both visually stunning and highly functional. Your technical knowledge of WebGL, Unity, three.js, rendering engines, and A-Frame will be essential in translating product requirements into actionable technical specifications. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the Immersive Technology landscape.

This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of how users experience content through 3D and Immersive Technologies, with a strong focus on pushing the envelope of what is possible in web-based platforms.

Role Responsibilities

Define and execute product, division, strategy, and roadmap for immersive experiences
Conduct market, research, competitor analysis, and user testing to inform product decisions
Work closely and collaborate with cross functional teams (Engineering and UX/UI Designers) to develop and launch user-centered, immersive experiences and products
Develop business cases, product requirement, documents, and user stories
Prioritize features, manage the product backlogs, and ensure timely product delivery
Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning
Communicate, product plans, goals, and results to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations
Ensure seamless user interactions and intuitive interface design
Familiarity with Agile project management tools (Jira, Asana)
This role is Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite based out of our office in Irvine, Ca.

Technical Expertise and Strong knowledge of Immersive Web Technologies, including:

WebXR
WebGL
3D Modeling and rendering (e.g., Blender, Maya)
Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)
3D Interfaces and spatial design

Understanding of one or more of the following technologies:

three.js
Unity
A-Frame
Rendering engines (e.g., Babylon.js, PlayCanvas)
Understanding of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Spatial Audio Concepts

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Product Manager role in a Immersive Web Technology or Gaming environment
Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of three.js, WebXR, WebGL, 3D Modeling and 3D rendering
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills both at the technical and business level
Strong knowledge of SDLC, and Agile Methodologies
Demonstrated history of engaging with clients in external facing roles
Detail oriented, take-ownership approach, self-organizing, and highly skilled, and time management

Plus

Experience with Game Development, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning
Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Certification in Product Management or related field
