APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple *Paramedics *for our client in *Charlotte, Michigan *for a 13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

*Position Title:* Paramedic
*Pay Rate: UP TO* $45/hr (Traveler will qualify for stipend as well)
*Work Location: *Charlotte, Michigan available
*Shift:* VARIABLE SHIFTS POSSIBLE - 6AM-6PM, 6PM-6AM. 1PM-1A
*Hours/day:* 12hrs Day
*Contract Duration:* 13 weeks
*Certification Requirement:* -ACLS-BLS-State License

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced life support and emergency care to patients in various situations, including pre-hospital settings and during transport. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
* *Emergency Care:* Assess patients’ conditions, perform advanced medical procedures, and administer medications as needed in emergency situations.
* *Patient Assessment:* Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, vital signs, and physical assessments to determine appropriate care.
* *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with other emergency responders, including EMTs, firefighters, and hospital staff, to coordinate patient care and transport.
* *Documentation:* Accurately complete patient care reports and maintain detailed records of treatments, medications, and other relevant information.
* *Equipment Management:* Ensure that all medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked, maintained, and ready for use during emergencies.
* *Community Engagement:* Participate in public education and outreach programs to promote health and safety awareness within the community.
* *Continuing Education:* Stay updated on the latest advancements in emergency medicine and participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

Qualifications:
* *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved Paramedic training program.
* *Certification:* Current state Paramedic certification; CPR and ACLS certifications are required; PALS and NRP certifications preferred.
* *Experience:* Previous experience as a Paramedic or in an EMS setting preferred.
* *Skills:*
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
* Proficiency in the use of medical equipment and technology.
