The Full-Time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner will work closely with physicians to manage patient health issues in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Allied Digestive Health in Brooklyn, NY. This role requires prior gastroenterology experience, proficiency in EMR and Telehealth, and a commitment to patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates must have a current NY licensure, DEA certificate, and 3-5 years of nurse practitioner experience, with bilingual skills in Russian or Ukrainian considered a plus.

Prior Gastroenterology Required

Summary: The NP is a licensed practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. This position must comply with the standards of care, which include without limitation assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management. The practice is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • MUST HAVE GASTROENTEROLOGY EXPEREINCE FOR THIS ROLE
  • Current Licensure NY in good standing
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Proficient in EMR and Telehealth required
  • At least 3-5 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Bi-Lingual Russian or Ukrainian a plus
