*Job Description:*

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Elmira, NY. This position requires providing comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals across various units. The successful candidate will be responsible for medication administration, patient assessment, and ensuring high standards of health care.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Receive verbal report from the nurse who worked the satellite unit upon arrival.
* Process MD orders by inputting them into CNET, printing updated MARs, and verifying new MARs with a second RN.
* Medicate patients in RCTP OB, RCTP Dorm, Long-term Care, Infirmary, Therapeutic Behavioral Unit (TBU), and General Population (GP) incarcerated individuals.
* Document medications given and those refused.
* Perform control and tool counts with a second nurse.
* Maintain stock medication accountability by counting stock medications and documenting on the appropriate form.
* Assess patients brought to the satellite unit and admit to RCTP if needed, documenting the RCTP admission form.
* Document RCTP nursing progress notes.
