*Summary of Position:*
Provide direct evaluation, treatment and support of social/emotional disorders to clients using evidence-based practice

*Principal Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Perform developmental screenings, intake assessments and individual adult, child family therapy and/or couples therapy in adherence to goals established on the intake evaluation and treatment plan.
* Finalize daily session notes including goal, intervention, and follow up plan that describes session content and documents client’s participation. For school/center based clients, provide at minimum weekly communication with parents/caregivers for each child summarizing the session and including appropriate at-home reinforcements.
* Report caseload status within MTC services (i.e., enrollment, pending, screenings) on a consistent basis (timeframe to be mutually agreed upon) to Clinical Manager of Child and Family Services.

*Technical Requirements – Education, Areas of Knowledge and Experience:*
* Masters Degree in respective mental health field
* *If LCPC, Tennessee State License through IDFPR: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)*
* Two years or more of psychotherapy experience preferred

*Behavioral Requirements - Personal Skills and Competencies:*
* Able to organize schedule and workload tasks independently and efficiently
* Treats co-workers and facility staff professionally and with respect
* Uses proper grammar, punctuation and spelling in written communications
* Uses technology to enhance job performance
* Is at work and on time with few exceptions
* Takes accountability for following up and seeing through on one’s work
* Uses behavior guided by ethical standards
* Presents a professional appearance in standard of dress and grooming, appropriate for one’s position.
* Maintains confidentiality as appropriate

*Customer Base:*
* Enrolled clients/families on caseloads
* Directors/Principals, Staff at facilities

*Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job:*
* Driving between client visits and facilities.
* Lifting/transporting therapy materials (i.e., evaluation materials, toys, and manipulatives).
