Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a variety of trucks and heavy equipment
  • Follow specific routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays

 

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL License & valid medical card
  • At least 21 years old
  • Ability to stay on the road for up to 9 days at a time
  • Reasonably clean MVR and PSP records
  • Not prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse
  • Negative drug test results
  • No major convictions on the criminal background check

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dry vans, flatbeds, or reefers

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A
  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and vehicles in various weather conditions
  • Strong understanding of route planning and navigation systems
  • Excellent time management skills for timely deliveries
  • Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and reporting
