These positions require a minimum of 1 year of medical surgical telemetry RN experience. Registry staff mainly float to neuro med surg telemetry, stepdown/IMC, critical care, ED and ED Boarders depending on prior unit experience. Tier C Minimum Requirements Minimum of five 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule; 2 shifts must be on a weekend; 1 holiday shifts per year; 1 hard to fill shift per year MedStar Health Nursing Benefits Free parking for associates at all 4 Baltimore hospitals System-wide RN referral bonus program - up to $6000 per RN and $4000 per LPN Increased charge/preceptor pay Relocation assistance up to $5000 if you live 50 miles away from your location Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex; identifies current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations; critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses Minimum Qualifications Education * Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing required; bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years Experience * 1-2 years RN experience required. 1 year of medical surgical/telemetry RN experience strongly preferred Licenses and Certifications * RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required and * CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period required.
