Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join their team. As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be part of the LOC Procurement team supporting multiple business units and commercial functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, project management experience, and the ability to generate data insights for performance metrics which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid: 2-3 days on site at the Durham or Philadelphia site)

Pay Range: Target pay rate is $56/hour

What's the Job?

  • Partner with one or more Business Units (BUs) or commercial functions (e.g., Oncology, Specialty, Market Access, Commercial Insights & Operations).
  • Lead or support the development of the procurement strategy for the BU(s).
  • Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives in line with the strategy.
  • Partner with our matrix global category Procurement team colleagues to ensure optimization of our global buying power with local business needs.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-BU projects.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years experience leading procurement for a specific supply category
  • Project management experience
  • Experience generating data insights for performance metrics
  • Experience with indirect categories (preferred)
