Transportation Analyst I

Our client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a Transportation Analyst I to join their team. As a Transportation Analyst I, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the transportation planning team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transportation Analyst I

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $30 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Manage and contact bulk customers to validate order accuracy at the TMS level.
  • Document all customer interactions according to call script guidelines.
  • Perform data updates in TMS and communicate changes to customer service.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the bulk control tower team.
  • Analyze data to identify cost and service improvement opportunities.

What's Needed?

  • Strong customer service skills, particularly via phone and email.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and manage tasks independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and transportation software systems.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
