Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
Do you have experience utilizing people expertise to proactively drive high-impact solutions that deliver business wide results? Cultivating a highly talented and inclusive workforce, you'll guide an exceptional associate experience, enabling them to do their best work. Here, you'll enable continued firm growth through professional and leadership development, workforce and succession planning, inclusion & diversity, and talent acquisition and engagement. By driving these human resources solutions, your work will serve both firm and associates' best interests and support Edward Jones being recognized as a Best Place to Work.
The Associate Human Capital Business Partner will contribute to strategic human capital business partnering with leaders within a division or functional area, responsible for organization/talent strategy and integrated solutions delivery under the direction of a more senior HCBP, and in partnership with HC COEs and Shared Services. The Associate HC Business Partner will serve as the advisor and coach to Senior Leadership teams.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate across COE leadership and individual SMEs/consultants.
- Contribute to the planning, review, and execution of human capital initiatives and partnerships within or across functional areas.
- Leverage human capital data, sharing data insights and informing future actions and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and coaching on HR processes to leaders on performance management, talent management, etc.
- Optimize HR standards, protocols and other best practices, driving consistency across divisions and improving adoption.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) to drive continuous improvement, leader-led enablement and work being done in the right place.
- Influence and drive leader behaviors and action through development and implementation of tools, resources, training and communications.
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Hiring Minimum: $81750
Hiring Maximum: $139194

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years related HR or business experience
- Demonstrated progression with increasing responsibility
- Advanced degree and HR certification a plus
- Demonstrated business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated success in influencing and coaching at the senior leadership level
- Experience developing, building, and maintaining strong business partnerships
- Ability to effectively engage and influence leaders at all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational and change management skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise exceptional judgment and decision-making
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
