Pay Rate: $40-42/hr on W2
Location: 100% ONSITE only in Westford MA
Duration: 12 months Contrcat with possible extension or hiring
Shift: 3 PM to 2 AM Monday thru Thursday
Job Description:
Evaluation of production equipment Production support and process validation Troubleshoot manufacturing process and equipment Protocol and report writing Generate and modify manufacturing process documentation
Work with cross functional teams as required Develop and implement process improvements
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ~ Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical.
• Will consider Masters with project, school or internship of few months but ONLY IF IN Medical Device field. If have manufacturing as an internship, it will depend on if the manufacturing exp. is relevant to the position and what they did as an intern.
• 2 to 3 years of exp. preferably working on a manufacturing line. Unless have Masters and see above. 3 to 5 years is an excellent or ideal fit.
• Will be on the manufacturing floor in a CLEANROOM and will be required to gown so please inform them of the cleanroom.
• 2nd shift working with 4 catheter lines from 3 pm to 2 am Monday thru Thursday ~ will be supporting manufacturing line with (some but not all listed) equipment troubleshooting, investigating line issues, documentation, DOE’s (DOE is designs of experiments) for process and will be supporting equipment techs’ as well as working with another ME.
• Exp in a highly regulated environment like Med Device, food, biomed or Pharma Medical Device exp. is required but medical device is the regulated environment that the manager is most interested in.
Day to Day will be acting as Technical Support to manufacturing teams. Manufacturing teams does assembly of catheters so this person will be line support during manufacturing to help with any issues related to yield, equipment, investigations etc.
Top 3 Skills:
1) Strong and independent worker who has a proven track record of being given directions and able to handle without hand holding.
2) Strong communications and Organizational skills.
3) Technical expertise in engineering basics like strong problem solver, basis statistics
CAPA Exp good but not required.
Looking for good manufacturing exp. and ability to support ISO.
Over-qualified is PhD, +10 to 20 years of exp and Masters who are looking for a jump off point as this position. Manager is looking for someone who wants to stay long term.
Manager will consider candidates who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
