POSITION TITLE

Associate Reinsurance Administration Specialist

YOUR ROLE

As an Associate Reinsurance Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of the Life business administered in the Tindall Associates Incorporated (TAI) system. You will support the Life Reinsurance Administration Specialist and Reinsurance Administration Leader in the daily processing of updates to existing policies with the goal of owning this process. Updates are needed to policies passed from direct systems (Cyberlife, Lifecomm, and Life 70) with changes that the TAI system cannot automatically process. Additionally, you will provide support to more senior members of the department on a variety of new implementations and other projects. Finally, you will develop and maintain the relationships with our external Reinsurance partners.

    

What you will be doing

  • Directly support Life Administration Leader in daily updates to reinsurance processing on TAI system
  • Develop skill sets within the reinsurance department to obtain holistic view of the reinsurance process, including development and maintenance of new and existing treaties
  • Act in the role of quality control of daily processing, audit findings and system changes
  • Improve and automate existing manual processes
  • Work directly with internal and external business partners on issues or questions as they relate to the administration and reporting of Life reinsurance
  • Act as a liaison to effectively communicate changes to all key parties within the Reinsurance department
  • Develop and maintain record keeping of large amounts of data
  • Prepare responses to audit requests, process accounting journal entries (premiums and claims), create year-end schedules and financial and regulatory reports
  • Perform other duties as they are defined that includes supporting multiple functions and processes within the Life Reinsurance Administration department
