Job Title: Printer Tech – HP Printer Break/Fix
Pay Rate: $25.36/hr on W2
Location: Baton Rouge, la Baton Rouge LA 70809 United States
Duration: 24 months of contract

Job Summary: The Field Service Representative provides on-site hardware support and related services for HP PC and Printer products, including laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations. This position requires strong technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to handle various service events. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide break/fix hardware support for HP products (PCs, laptops, desktops, workstations) and printers.
  • Configure hardware, software, and simple network components.
  • Repair units and manage technical action plans for resolving PC/print issues.
  • Educate customers on technology and provide on-site support.
  • Align service delivery with customer business needs and maintain contractual commitments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems involving third-party software, networks, and switches.
  • Interact with HP and customer management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain attention to detail in administrative responsibilities, service reports, and escalation follow-ups.
  • Prioritize tasks independently and adapt to changing priorities based on contract and customer requirements.
  • Exercise solid decision-making skills to meet HP and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical hardware training or college preferred.
  • On-site customer-facing experience.
  • Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies.
