Job Summary and Qualifications1. *Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures. 2. *Performs all Sonographic exams following defined protocols.
3. *Observant of patients’ conditions. Notifies physician or supervisor of unusual occurrences.
4. *Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
5. *Analyzes the quality of images and processes as required.
6. *Understands and operates electronic information systems.
7. Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean, organized working environment.
8. *Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of sonography and meet educational requirements of ARDMS.
9. *Takes call after regular hours.
10. Registered or registry eligible by RDMS or ARRT.
EXPERIENCE
Preferred - 2-3 Years experience as RT or Sonographer
Two or more years of experience in a hospital Ultrasound Department.
EDUCATION
Required - ARDMS eligible. BLS Certification Preferred - ARDMS certification.
Hours: Fri, Sat, Sun 8am-9pm
