Base pay rate: $23.22 to $25.54 hourly

In this job, you will:

  • The Laboratory Assistant Senior performs tasks to support the laboratory technical staff in specimen procurement, specimen processing, and some basic lab testing. 
  • Trains new personnel, prepares work schedules, oversees daily workflow, and ensures the site adheres to company policies and practices.
  • Perform a vital part of patient care by ensuring laboratory specimens are adequately processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
  • Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
  • Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience is required
  • Leadership skills required
  • Computer skills and medical terminology required
  • Customer service experience required
  • For hospital settings, additional requirements may apply and change without notice, including, but not limited to, criminal background checks, health clearance, and hospital compliance training.
  • Successfully pass Company pre-employment drug test and periodic and random thereafter.

  • 1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
