QC Technician

Position Summary: With minimal supervision, the QC Technician's primary responsibilities will be; To execute the day-to-day incoming inspections using available calibrated gages and technical aids, etc. Review and maintain accurate documentation / regulatory records. Collate and present department daily KPI's. Issue Corrective Action Requests to external suppliers as necessary. Perform first article inspections on newly designed and procured commodities. Supporting Duties (includes, but is not limited to): Assist with production first off's and end of line final product inspections. Processing the supplier RMA's. Any other duty assigned by department manager. Essential Qualifications / Experience: High School diploma / General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year of field experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understand and effectively use general measuring equipment including, but not limited to, veneers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, indicators, etc. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, as well as take direction from senior members of the Department / Team. Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift 30 pounds, if required. Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Ability to read and understand part control plans. Ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point Well-organized. Previous mechanical experience, machinist is a plus. Electrical experience a plus but, not required. CMM experience a plus. EOE/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled Pay Rate: $22.00
