Program Administration Eligibility SpecialistLocation: Austin, TX (in office)Hourly Rate: $20/hrSchedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pmYour Role

Monitors upcoming financial eligibility renewal dates weekly via state portal, available reporting (internal or external), and/or paper mail and communicates to program staff on individuals with eligibility about to expire
Enters individual financial eligibility data into system(s)  weekly to assist in accurate reporting and timely billing of services provided by local staff
Maintains files with eligibility information by client
Where Sevita is representative payee, assembles, completes, and submits applications, appeals, or other forms related to financial eligibility, partnering with field and other functional teams as needed for necessary documentation
Researches complex eligibility issues via payer website or by phone. Communicates directly with state / payer / other external partners where needed to resolve outstanding issues or follow-up on eligibility status
Communicates with program staff alerting local field or functional teams of potential blockers, escalations, etc. preventing financial eligibility from processing timely
Reviews AR Aging and works with AR team members, functional partners, or local office staff on resolution of eligibility-related billing.  Prepares supporting documentation for eligibility related sales adjustments (gap in coverage)
Where Sevita is not representative payee, supports field with escalation questions as subject matter expert on state expectations and timing
Performs other related duties and activities as required

Qualifications

Associates degree and one year related administrative support experience preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements
In office expectations to-be-established between individual employee and state leadership, with higher frequency expectations where processing mail at central office is required
