Responsibilities:
Supervision:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
Monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as needed to meet operational demands.
Customer Service:
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to all guests.
Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Proactively address any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
Training and Development:
Train new team members on restaurant procedures, service standards, and safety protocols.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to existing staff to promote growth and improvement.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and camaraderie.
Quality Control:
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to maintain cleanliness and organization.
Monitor food and beverage quality to uphold our standards of excellence.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
Minimize waste and control costs through efficient inventory management practices.
Cash Handling:
Manage cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and security measures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
