WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg Supervisor for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York.
Shift: 12 hours

WCS Healthcare has an immediate opening for an experienced Registered Nurse for Regional Nursing Supervisor position at social service facility. This leadership opportunity will include responsibilities such as managing nursing activities, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and anticipates changes in schedule/caseload to prioritize critical health emergencies.
Managing RN + LPNs nursing activities, scheduling, training, and performance evals
Anticipate changes in schedule + caseload to assist the division w/ critical health events
Report any nursing gaps in services + deficits immediately to Director of Nursing Services + SVP of DD Health and Clinical Services
Develop and revise PONS (Plan of Nursing Services) for any individual who requires nursing care
Conducts internal auditing independently through chart and precision care reviews
Follow-ups individuals hospital admission and discharge from hospital/rehab
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5 yrs of RN working w/ I/DD population + 5 yrs nursing clinical exp
Minimum 5 yrs of nursing supervisory exp and demonstrate high energy in mobilizing nursing team
