Job Summary
This job administers flu vaccinations. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. Accountabilities

Assist with pre-employment health evaluations for prospective employees.
Performs annual health evaluations on all employees.
Maintains Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) records as required.
Reviews and follows up on all occupational injury/illness reports.
Handles Worker's Compensation claims.
Promotes an environment consistent with the ICP&T Committee findings; to minimize the spread of infectious disease both from employee to patient and from patient to employee.
Provides support to the Environment Of Care Committee.
Contributes to the maintenance of accurate policies and procedures.
Maintains health records in a confidential, accurate and complete manner.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program required.
One year of LPN experience required.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
Licensed to practice as an LPN in South Carolina.
In Lieu Of The Above Minimum Requirements
In lieu of 1 year of LPN experience, will accept successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or successful completion of a comparable residency program from another organization.
In lieu of completion of a LPN program, will accept program equivalency recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
In lieu of 1 year of LPN experience, will accept candidates enrolled in an accredited LPN to RN transition program.
Other Required Skills and Experience
Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to treat patients
Guidelines for Changes in LPN Licensure
If an LPN team member working in this position obtains RN licensure, Prisma Health will accept RN licensure for a limited time until the team member can be placed in an RN position. Team members should immediately notify their manager and Talent Acquisition if they are scheduled to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam or have obtained RN licensure.
