It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) Freestanding ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator. Under the general supervision of the unit’s director, the CNC assumes responsibility for the direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.
You will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care, as indicated by the patient’s responses and conditions.
You will delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
You will provide individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
You will adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the emergency room
Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists. These staff are on site at all times. Visit us for excellent general and OB care
