Pinnacle Home Care, Florida’s largest privately-owned, award-winning home health agency, is looking for compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team of skilled providers. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care to patients in their homes.
The Speech Therapist (ST) is a professional member of our healthcare team who delivers skilled Speech Therapy services to clients. Working in compliance with professional standards and agency policies, the ST plays a key role in enhancing patients' quality of life. This role reports to the nursing supervisor and functions under a physician’s direction.
Evaluate clients’ speech, language, and hearing abilities, recommending strategies to enhance communication and hearing.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care plans and provide speech pathology training to team members as needed.
Educate clients and families on speech therapy techniques and related challenges.
Document all evaluation data, treatments, and client progress promptly.
Supervise Home Health Aides every 14 days when Speech Therapy is the sole discipline involved.
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program.
