A&B is focused on providing Florida Health Insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida offering products aimed at complying with Obamacare (ACA) regulations including Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage.  In addition, we look at Critical Illness, Accident plans, hospital indemnity, and a full range of personal and business insurance alternatives.

 

As Small Group, Producer you will develop a pipeline of new clients through direct and indirect customer contact and prospecting with follow-up on leads to identify business opportunities.  The position is responsible for making initial contacts and developing relationships with prospective clients that grow into business opportunities. Networking and developing contacts across the community for opportunities is an important part of this position. 


  • Writing new business for Small Groups within the local Florida market. 
  • Servicing existing clients.
  • Growing a team of agents
  • Assisting in identifying new opportunities of growth for new business relationships.
  • Working to develop relationships with strong small businesses. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective communication in person and by phone.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales administrative systems.
  • Knowledge of general business principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, profit/loss requirements, organizational structures, and operational needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with our team virtually, in-person, and for client/ business travel
  • Have or willing to acquire Accident and Health License. 
  • Bi Linguala is a plus.
