Public Relations Manager, Amazon Ads CommsAmazon Ads is seeking an experienced PR Manager to lead corporate reputation initiatives across our global advertising business. In this role, you'll develop and execute proactive and reactive communications strategies that protect and enhance Amazon Ads reputation among key industry stakeholders, including advertisers, agencies, publishers, and industry analysts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of proactive PR strategies to position Amazon Ads as an industry thought leader and trusted partnerManage reactive communications and crisis response for issues impacting Amazon Ads' reputationBuild and maintain relationships with top-tier advertising, marketing, and business media outlets and reportersCreate compelling narratives around Amazon Ads' business strategy, product innovations, and customer success storiesCollaborate with executive leadership to develop authentic positioning and messagingPartner with internal teams including Product PR, Corporate Communications, Policy, Legal, and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all external touchpointsPrepare executives for media interviews, speaking opportunities, and industry eventsMonitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and public sentiment to identify reputation opportunities and risksMeasure and report on the effectiveness of reputation management strategiesBasic Qualifications7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experienceBachelor's degreeExperience communicating results to senior leadershipProven track record managing proactive and reactive communications for a global businessStrong media relationships with relevant business and trade publicationsDemonstrated ability to develop strategic communications plans that drive business resultsPreferred QualificationsExperience with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agenciesExperience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlinesUnderstanding of programmatic advertising, retail media, and the broader digital advertising environmentTrack record of translating complex technical concepts into compelling narrativesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
