Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2 years, unit accepts first-time travelers

License: Must have appropriate state or compact license at time of application

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required

Must-Have: PICC Line management; ability to work major holidays if required

Job Description:

- 8-week holiday incentive for travelers starting on the designated start date
- Options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Travelers must have no Requested Time Off (RTO) and be willing to work on specific key holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Patient population comprises adults to geriatrics, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
- Schedule requirements include 4 weekend shifts per month; floating may occur to other departments with assignments suitable to medical-surgical acuity
- Orientation consists of 13 hours
- Candidates must be available to submit core documentation and schedule labs promptly after signing the contract to ensure an on-time start
- Perm staff must be away for one full year to return as a traveler
- References: Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission; must be a manager or above
- Compliance document deadline is the Tuesday prior to the start date
