Projects range from short, multi-week assessments to phased multi-year design and implementation and everything in-between. The variety of projects provide consultants with a dynamic and highly challenging opportunity to grow and learnThe Business Architect is a team leader on our project engagement teams and is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing business changes using technology-enabled solutions. Business Architects are tasked with facilitating workshops and requirements sessions to understand the client’s current state processes and technology. From the sessions’ outputs, the Business Architect will map out a future state that includes improved process definition as well as best-practice architecture and implementation of a selected platform. The Business Architect also designs and deploys solutions that support our clients’ business processes and requirements. This individual must be able to manage and deliver components of client engagements that include analysis of current state business process and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and architecture for a selected vendor.ResponsibilitiesWork on-site with clients to align strategic goals and objectivesInterpret our clients’ business needs and translate those needs into technology and operational requirementsInterpret clients’ process flows or system diagrams and create future state versions that highlight the advantages of recommendationsLead large cross-functional workshops of 10-50 people for process analysis and architecture requirements gathering and, in conjunction with other team members, produce professional design documentsIdentify gaps in process mapping and apply industry knowledge to fill those gapsLead playback sessions to articulate findings, recommendations and finalize client solution documents for sign off and hand off to development or deployment team membersContinue to act as a subject matter expert for the clientContribute to the development of various service offeringsContribute to practice thought leadership, body of knowledge and service developmentParticipate in the development and cultivation of client relationshipsSupport business development and sales teams for both follow-on and new sales effortsMentoring junior team membersQualifications we seek in youMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or other relevant degreeExperience in management consulting with functional knowledge in supply chain or after sales service operations, or have managed supply chain functions within a corporate settingExperience leading workstreams and teams of consultants in the delivery of client engagements; full life cycle project management experience a plusExperience leading client workshops in change management or other consulting methodologies at the executive, management and user levelsKnowledge of supply chain systems, processes and data, and business operationsExperience in software implementation and integration a plusAnalytical skills and a capacity to work with large data sets a plusExceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute in a team environmentAn ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focusStrong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learnExperience with delivering solutions on behalf of Partners is a plusBe a transformation leader – Work at the cutting edge of AI, automation, and digital innovationMake an impact – Drive change for global enterprises and solve business challenges that matterAccelerate your career – Get hands-on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunitiesWork with the best – Join 140,000+ bold thinkers and problem-solvers who push boundaries every dayThrive in a values-driven culture – Our courage, curiosity, and incisiveness - built on a foundation of integrity and inclusion - allow your ideas to fuel progressCome join the tech shapers and growth makers at Genpact and take your career in the only direction that matters: Up.Let’s build tomorrow together.The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $152,000-230,000.
