The compensation package for this position includes a salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, commensurate with previous work experience. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team, ensuring the highest quality patient care during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will assist with equipment preparation and positioning of patients, operate necessary equipment, and contribute to the training of new staff members. Responsibilities
Prepares equipment before and during procedures. Identifies and assesses patient condition, preparing and positioning them accordingly. Maintains a sterile environment. Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and development. Utilizes downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager. Fosters strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care. Qualifications
Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility for and/or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Previous procedural area experience is preferred but not required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification, particularly in CV, CI, or VI areas, is highly desirable. Basic Life Support (BLS) training must be completed during orientation prior to providing patient care and maintained throughout employment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification should be achieved within six months of hire and sustained during tenure. Educational Background
Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Program. Relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS, and one year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, are highly valued. A commitment to ongoing education and professional development is essential for success in this role.
