In this role as a Production Technician, you will be responsible for supporting production of Formulation Product Pools in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Performs directed activities in the Formulation department to complete the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools and intermediates.
  • Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule, assembling equipment and supplies.
  • Production activities to include operating and monitoring equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls; calculating concentrations, dilutions, and yields; adhering to aseptic filtering and filing procedures.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures.
  • Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
  • Performs basic instrument operation and maintenance, etc.
  • Can assist in the troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents related issues and coordinates support operations.
  • Can assist the routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Reviews maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, cGMP, policies, and procedures in the specialty area.
  • Ability to operate lab/test equipment.
  • Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery preferred.
  • Transaction in SAP a plus.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Team player/ flexible/ attentive to detail and quality minded.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $20.10 to $27.60 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
