Our pay structure is 50% commission of grooms

Job Summary

The Part Time Groomer is responsible for bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. The Groomer should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Job Responsibilities
  • Possess basic grooming and handling knowledge
  • Excellent scissor skills
  • Ability to perform breed specific pattern cuts
  • Follow all client requests
  • Recruit and retain clientele
  • Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily
  • Able to clean pet accommodations / facility to maintain our high standards
  • Operate basic computer software
  • Full or Part Time flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
  • Grooming experience required for both cats and dogs
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours

Pay Range - 50% commission of grooms
