Job Title: Offline Repair Assembler - Assembler 4Location: South Chesterfield, VA What we are looking for:We are looking for an Offline Repair Assembler to assist in directing the building and movement of Hillphoenix cases through the assembly process ensuring employee safety and the highest level of quality is achieved. What you will be responsible for in this role: Read and comprehend an "A" order Ability to work and manage all stations on any of the production assembly lines Identify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself Works at different workstations as production needs require Works as member of assembly team building any unit to completion Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line Utilize appropriate information given on material gauging and dimensioning, etc Performs appropriate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling Develops, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment. Have a working understanding of all basic safety procedures and sets the example for proper use of all safety equipment and apparel Direct daily activities in the work area to ensure daily production goals are met. Develops and maintains the highest quality standard - zero defects. Works continuously to improve all areas. Training and coaching of associates to include manufacturing practices, quality practices, and safety procedures. Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information Communication of job status between shifts and continuation of work in progress Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities is a must. Quickly and effectively shifts gears to meet changing business requirements. Other duties as assignedWhat are the basic qualifications? HS Diploma/GED May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling. Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs). Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dustWhat are the preferred qualifications? Six months' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
