We are seeking a skilled Blender to join our team for our client located in Clearwater. As a Blender, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients to create high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Day tank furnaces for melting are used to produce glass compositions tailored to our customer's specific requirements.
• Utilization of crushing, dry and wet milling equipment allows SG to deliver coarse to fine micron-size powders.
• Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes
• Operate blending equipment to mix ingredients thoroughly
• Follow established procedures for blending and processing products
• Monitor blending process to ensure consistency and quality
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products
• Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work area
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic math for measuring and weighing ingredients accurately
• Ability to follow instructions precisely
• Familiarity with and safety practices
• Mechanical knowledge for operating blending equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
